    What is Cell Fixation Tape?

Cell Fixation Tape is a 23 ± 2 μm thick transparent tape made for solar cell fixing and alignment during PV module manufacturing. With a total thickness of 50 ± 2 μm and an elongation capacity of 110%, the tape ensures flexibility and tensile strength (13 Kg/25mm) while maintaining a firm grip during lamination.

Its UV-resistant adhesive is formulated to offer high initial tack (950 g/25mm adhesion to steel) and long-term reliability. The tape stays intact within the module without degrading over time, making it ideal for thin-film module applications as well.

It is especially suited for internal module use where UV exposure and durability are critical.

    Uses in Various Industries :

    Biological Research & Life Sciences:

Cell Fixation Tape is widely used in research laboratories to mount cells, tissues, and micro-specimens on slides or carriers. It ensures stability during staining, washing, and processing without altering specimen morphology. This makes it ideal for long-duration studies and microscopic evaluations. The tape also supports multiple sample cycles and maintains adhesion integrity throughout. Researchers rely on it for high-precision work where contamination-free adhesion is essential.

    Clinical Diagnostics & Medical Laboratories:

In clinical settings, the tape functions as a clinical diagnostics fixation tape for securing patient samples during screening and analysis. It prevents specimen shifting, ensuring accurate positioning for automated diagnostic equipment. This improves consistency of test results and reduces sample-handling errors. It is also used in rapid test devices and diagnostic cassettes. Its clean adhesive properties maintain clarity for visual or LFA (lateral flow assay) readings.

    Microscopy & Imaging Applications:

Used as a microscopy sample fixation tape, it provides excellent surface adhesion for high-resolution imaging procedures. The tape holds sensitive samples firmly without affecting optical paths or producing artifacts. This is critical for light microscopy, fluorescence imaging, and digital pathology. The stable adhesion prevents sample drift, improving image reproducibility and accuracy. It is compatible with various substrates including glass, polymer slides, and coated plates.

    Laboratory Sample Preparation & Handling:

As a specimen holding tape for labs, it assists in organizing, mounting, and stabilizing samples during preparation workflows. It is used to secure lightweight materials, labels, micro-specimens, and calibration slides. The tape enables effortless handling without damaging samples, making it beneficial for training labs and high-throughput environments. Its residue-free removal ensures that surfaces and instruments remain contamination-free.

    Pharmaceutical & Biomedical Manufacturing:

In pharma and biotech production environments, Cell Fixation Tape is applied during assembly of test kits, diagnostic devices, biosensors, and microfluidic components. Its controlled tack helps align components with precision. The tape remains stable under varying temperature and humidity conditions, supporting consistent manufacturing quality. It also aids in transport packaging of sensitive specimen carriers.
