What is Polyimide Film?

This film exhibits excellent balance of mechanical strength, chemical resistance and electrical insulating properties over a wide temperature range. It maintains dimensional stability under thermal stress and has low shrinkage.

Polyimide Film is often used uncoated or with adhesive backing depending on application. Its properties make it suitable for environments where standard polymer films fail—such as very high heat, electrical insulation under stress, or exposure to chemicals/solvents.

• Backing material is polyimide film with excellent thermal stability. (e.g. adhesivespecialities AS-078 polyimide film is rated for high temperature around 350 °C peak, with good dielectric properties).
