More AboutPTFE coated Glass Cloth Tape
What is PTFE Coated glass cloth tape?
PTFE Teflon Coated Tape is constructed of PTFE-coated non-woven fibreglass fabric and silicone adhesive. The tape clings well to hot surfaces and may be repositioned without leaving a residue. It can withstand constant ambient temperatures ranging from -73 C to 500 C, depending on the tape thickness. The tape is non-toxic, has no odour, and has no taste. The tape’s combination provides exceptional dimensional stability, tensile strength, and longevity, as well as very low elongation (less than 1%). It also has a very low coefficient of friction, resulting in an incredibly smooth, non-stick surface on the non-adhesive side, as well as excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance, and hydrophobic and dielectric qualities. The tape can also be ordered with a liner.
PTFE Teflon Coated Tape is primarily used to protect hot filament in heat sealing machines, but it may also be utilised in the food processing, packaging, and handling sectors, as well as for heat resistant masking, coil bundling, and wire bundling.
